The Small Print!

Our terms and conditions apply to all online conditions of sale from our Website. The terms are set out below. Please take time to read them before ordering. You may wish to print a copy for future reference. Other terms and conditions on our site such as our privacy policy should also be read as part of this agreement. We may change these terms from time to time without notice to you. Changes will apply to any subsequent orders received.

  1. We reserve the right to change these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this site.
  2. We deliver to UK adresses only by Royal Mail or other courier who may require an adult signature for delivery.
  3. Delivery charges and when we estimate we may supply the goods to you are contained in our separate shipping and returns section of this site. We endeavour to deliver the goods when stated, but cannot guarantee delivery by such date.
  4. The goods are subject to availability and if we cannot supply them we will inform you and you will be given a full refund of what you have paid.
  5. The goods are sold at the price on our website at the date we receive the order from you. If we find a pricing error on our site we will inform you as soon as possible and give you the opportunity, if you wish, of reconfirming your order at the correct price, or cancelling it. If we cannot contact you we will cancel the order. If you cancel due to a pricing error on our part and you have paid for the goods you will be given a full refund.
  6. Payment can be made by any means set out in our checkout page. We aim to keep details of your order and payment secure, however, we are not liable for any losses caused as a result of unauthorised access to information provided by you.
  7. The contract between us shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales and any dispute between us will be resolved exclusively in the courts of England and Wales.
  8. If you recieve faulty goods we will handle this in accordance with our returns policy.
  9. Where applicable, you may cancel your order under the distance selling regulations (see our returns policy for further information). Safe return of the goods are your responsibility. They should be returned to us unopened, unused and in resaleable condition. We will not accept returns of food items such as icing or chocolate products unless they can be shown to be defective (see our returns policy).
  10. Cake Tin Hire Deposit. To ensure the safe return of our cake tins we charge refundable deposits equal to the product(s) replacement cost. The deposit is described in the product listing and is automatically added on the shipping cart total. You have a seven day hire period from receipt of your order, and the return of the tin is required within three days after the hire period.
  11. It is important that you open the received packaging with care and re-use it for the return of the item to us. The return postage is the customers responsibility. Please ensure you obtain a certificate of postage from Royal Mail and ensure the item is insured for the total order deposit. Royal Mail 1st Class packet mail currently has a £30 insurance limit, so should you hire more than one tin in the same order, you will have to take out insurance against loss. Without the certificate of postage we will be unable to refund your deposit should the package go missing, and you will have to claim the deposit insurance from Royal Mail direct.
  12. Upon the return of the tins in clean and satisfactory condition (free from dents and bends) a full refund of the deposit will be made on the same or next working day when the tin was received by us. Should the tin be returned late, £1.00 per full or part day will be deducted from your deposit. If, however, you can provide proof of posting on time, your refund will be unaffected.
  13. Special Area Pricing

    For orders to Scotland and the Highlands, The Hebrides Islands, The Shetlands Islands, Northern and Southern Ireland, The Isle of Man and the Channel Islands please telephone us so we can manually adjust your postage and packing charges as our courier imposes an extra charge for delivery to these areas. We apologise for this inconvenience, but we do not, as yet, have the facility in place to adjust postage depending upon your postcode and we would prefer that you knew the shipping cost prior to finalising your order.  Please see terms and conditions section of the site for the full postal rates postcode areas together with shipping pricing information for these areas.
